Partnerships
Authentic News Compass considers collaborations that suit a publication about reading news carefully. Clear identification matters: readers should be able to tell independent editorial work from material supported or supplied by a partner.
Possible collaborations
Proposals may include clearly labelled partner features, relevant resource placements, or other reader-facing collaborations that complement news literacy. Each proposal should explain its subject, intended audience, format and any commercial or material connection. We do not accept work that requires an undisclosed endorsement or promises a particular editorial conclusion.
Placement and labelling
Partner links or placements may appear in agreed areas across the website, including relevant pages or article contexts. Every paid, supplied or otherwise partner-connected placement is labelled clearly; its presentation should not imply that it is an independent editorial recommendation. Placement is subject to editorial suitability and the ability to label the relationship honestly.
How to propose a partnership
Use the Contact page and select the partnership reason. Describe the collaboration, the proposed material or placement, and the relationship behind it. A proposal is not an acceptance, and any arrangement must preserve clear separation between partner material and independent editorial decisions.
Good reading begins with a careful question
A clear account makes room for what is known, what is claimed, and what is still unclear. Reading well means keeping those distinctions in view.
